AI and Topic Maps

AI agents are collecting existing data to derive statistical analyses and provide a written and short synthesis as answers to user prompts. The AI bots are providing average answers based on word frequency, their co-occurence in sentences.

If the question asked is general enough, and if no specific details are needed, it is possible that the answers provided by AI agents are just what is needed. However, if a very precise answer to a question is necessary, then the AI bots may fail providing the correct answer.

AI only scratches the surface with vector databases, creating a network of interconnected words based on a statistical assessment of their usage. What they mean, whether they contain valuable information or trash, is indifferent.
